The erection of buildings from ready-made object blocks in the Arctic zone al-lows to significantly reduce the construction time due to the transfer of more than two-thirds of the works to the factory conditions. The developed material for these purposes (expanded polystyrene concrete) allows reducing the weight of the box-boxes by 25–30 % with a significant increase in crack resistance and durability.
The possibility of using local raw materials for making building structures from fine-grained concrete in the Northern climatic zone is considered. To improve the properties of such concrete, impregnation with liquid glass is applied, which provides an increase in strength of 3–4 times and is necessary for operation under these conditions of durability.

Research of the magnetic separator designed for water purification from emulsified oil products, together with highly dispersed magnetic nanoparticles is carried out in this work. Some structural features are identified for it and the principal diagram of the implementation of installation is proposed. In particular, simulation of the magnetic field of the magnets NeFeB is carried out. Due to this the size of the ferromagnetic cartridge is determined. In addition, the optimal arrangement of steel rods for magnetic cartridge is defined.

Research topic involves the implementation of scientific and practical researches in the field of increase of frost resistance of concrete due to the use of polystyrene foam.

A multipacker installation (MPI) has been designed, which allows operating 3 or more layers separately. The device UORE-RPP has been designed that allows switching stream flows between the layers to operate only one of them, while for operating the other layer it is necessary to perform refitting of plungers. Both of the developed installations were implemented on wells of JSC “Sheshmaoil”, and positive results were achieved. A patent has been obtained.

Gas heating is a function that is responsible for the operational duration of the GDS. The gas-preheating unit is located in front of the reduction unit, further a sharp drop in temperature occurs, which subsequently leads to the formation of hydrates and the freezing of equipment, shut-off valves and piping according to the Joule-Thomson effect. In connection with the insufficient level of automation, it became necessary to improve the natural gas heating system by using an automatic control system – Gas heating Control Unit (GHCU), in which it is required to develop an algorithm by which the gas will be heated to the required temperature. In the actual part of the algorithm, data are collected from the sensors located on the GDS and comparing them with the design ones.

Various formulations of produced rubber, samples of which swell in various media, were investigated, analysis of well casing complications was carried out and results of field trial of water- and oil-swellable packers were obtained. Composition of a water- and oil-swellable rubber was developed based on the survey results. Introduction of swellable packers allowed decreasing water cut of wells compared to basic wells and eliminate water shut-off treatments.

The paper deals with the cavity of the main pipeline. Based on the analysis of existing designs of treatment facilities in the proposed cleaning scraper made of composite materials, equipped with neodymium magnets. Particular attention is paid to the development of the construction of such a scraper and increase its effec-tiveness.
This article is about actual problem of unsatisfactory work of system of heating of cycle air on GPA-32 Ladoga compressor unit on CS-48: there were emergency stops, caused by insufficient heating of inlet air of axial compressor. Offering solutions in this article are:
1) changing the design of complex air-cleaning device. There is analysis of current design, calculations of parameters of air flow and estimation of processes according to aerodynamics;
2) justification of creation of anti-icing system, based on the principle of infrared heating. To do this the mathematical model GTU GPA-32 was written in Mathcad 15 in the form of the system of linear equations (verification of the results of the calculations and technical specifications was also completed). The influence of heating of air on the operating parameters of the gas turbine in case of increasing heating power assesses on the basis of the mathematic model. According to the analysis of the results, conclusion is made about the optimality of the infrared de-icing system because it requires neither any direct air heating, no consumption of compressed air from the axial compressor of the gas turbine, so it is economically effective.
Proposed impregnation technique with liquid glass of fine-grained concrete for the manufacture of thin-walled reinforced concrete structures in the Arctic zone. The effectiveness of the method is confirmed experimentally: significant increase of physical-mechanical properties – compressive strength, frost resistance, etc. Application of the method in the Arctic zone will increase the longevity of constructed buildings and structures.

Decrease of service life of pumping rods was determined as the viscosity of extracted fluid is growing. Analysis of repairs of Cavity Pumping Units was performed. Means with a proven efficiency for catching the suspended solids in extracted fluid – a tail pipe, a slurry trap and a gas-sand anchor have been developed. Fluids with various viscosities were obtained for determining the sedimentation rate of solids.
The article made the analysis of the existing methodology for the design of pile foundations, its correspondence to the experimental data and introduced a new approach to the design of pile foundations for ultimate limit state based on the author’s model piles and pile foundation.
