One of the most important tasks determining the safety of the environment during operation and maintenance of ball valves in the winter in the Far North is the efficiency and trouble-free operation of the gas pipeline.

The erection of buildings from ready-made object blocks in the Arctic zone al-lows to significantly reduce the construction time due to the transfer of more than two-thirds of the works to the factory conditions. The developed material for these purposes (expanded polystyrene concrete) allows reducing the weight of the box-boxes by 25–30 % with a significant increase in crack resistance and durability.
The possibility of using local raw materials for making building structures from fine-grained concrete in the Northern climatic zone is considered. To improve the properties of such concrete, impregnation with liquid glass is applied, which provides an increase in strength of 3–4 times and is necessary for operation under these conditions of durability.
Research of the magnetic separator designed for water purification from emulsified oil products, together with highly dispersed magnetic nanoparticles is carried out in this work. Some structural features are identified for it and the principal diagram of the implementation of installation is proposed. In particular, simulation of the magnetic field of the magnets NeFeB is carried out. Due to this the size of the ferromagnetic cartridge is determined. In addition, the optimal arrangement of steel rods for magnetic cartridge is defined.

A multipacker installation (MPI) has been designed, which allows operating 3 or more layers separately. The device UORE-RPP has been designed that allows switching stream flows between the layers to operate only one of them, while for operating the other layer it is necessary to perform refitting of plungers. Both of the developed installations were implemented on wells of JSC “Sheshmaoil”, and positive results were achieved. A patent has been obtained.
Gas heating is a function that is responsible for the operational duration of the GDS. The gas-preheating unit is located in front of the reduction unit, further a sharp drop in temperature occurs, which subsequently leads to the formation of hydrates and the freezing of equipment, shut-off valves and piping according to the Joule-Thomson effect. In connection with the insufficient level of automation, it became necessary to improve the natural gas heating system by using an automatic control system – Gas heating Control Unit (GHCU), in which it is required to develop an algorithm by which the gas will be heated to the required temperature. In the actual part of the algorithm, data are collected from the sensors located on the GDS and comparing them with the design ones.
This paper presents an overview of the research devoted to the problem of the creation of energy-efficient systems on the basis of useful heat of exhaust gases of gas turbine plants. Methods of optimizing the cost of heat are described. Solutions are proposed for the construction of energy-efficient systems.
Various formulations of produced rubber, samples of which swell in various media, were investigated, analysis of well casing complications was carried out and results of field trial of water- and oil-swellable packers were obtained. Composition of a water- and oil-swellable rubber was developed based on the survey results. Introduction of swellable packers allowed decreasing water cut of wells compared to basic wells and eliminate water shut-off treatments.

The paper deals with the cavity of the main pipeline. Based on the analysis of existing designs of treatment facilities in the proposed cleaning scraper made of composite materials, equipped with neodymium magnets. Particular attention is paid to the development of the construction of such a scraper and increase its effec-tiveness.
